ARTISTS of Hackney are being invited to paint their feelings about the borough on a blank wall in front of Hackney Central Station.
The scheme is all part of a collaboration between the council and Groundwork London, a green charity, to provide on lucky artist with the opportunity to contribute to the trend of urban art in the area. Hackney’s Young Parliament will be filming on the streets to discover what the resident’s favourite things about the neighbourhood are.
The aim of the project, which will be created on an outside wall of Marks and Spencer on Amhurst Road, is to reflect the spirit and creative vibe of the Hackney community.
To apply, visit the Groundwork London website, here.
